Played with a passionate member who told me about the club’s storied past, and how it has inspired so many golf architects. A golfing experience full of treats such as a stone wall guarding a green (the 13th) blind holes, drives over burns, shots over the sea and a few ominous bunkers thrown in the mix. The 15th green is the original ‘Redan’, imitated by many. There’s no way you won’t enjoy playing the West Links at North Berwick.
Wonderful golf experience. One of the top courses in the world, without a doubt. Striking views, endless variety of shots, and rich history. Should be on any serious golfer's bucket list.
A great test on historic grounds - I believe it's the 13th oldest course in the world. Stunning views add to the experience with views across to Craigleith Island and Bass Rock, a huge volcanic lump. Signature hole is the par-3 15th, - sits atop a plateau with a bunker short of the green. Wind can be brutal here; hit a PW nearly 180 yards on one hole, and 5-iron 130 yards.

A MUST when around the Area
Pure Links alongside the coast of North Berwick! Awesome course and the breeze keeps you busy playing the shots! The course plays beautifully along the coast before making the turn.
