Charming
12.06.2016
Worplesdon is generally regarded as the best of the 'three Ws' - no mean feat when you consider the other two courses are West Hill and Woking. It's a charming layout, and while not long, towering trees, heather and tricky green complexes ensure it's far from easy. In fact, the sloped putting surfaces can house some devilish pin positions, so strategy and course management are important here. Long hitters will be able to take advantage of the short selection of par 5s, including the 6th, where the green sits considerably lower than the lay-up area.
Elegant course

A quiet and elegant golf course that isn't too long at 6500 yards. The fairways roll getting up and down and they are flanked by mature trees. The par-3 13th is a beauty, one of the best in the county. A typical Surrey parkland golf course.
