Classic and historic Highland links course with design originally by Archie Simpson, but changes made by Old Tom Morris and James Braid. Moray Firth on the right as you tee off makes the setting glorious. My playing partner played his second shot of the day from beyond the rocks, on the beach, where you will go if you slice it - but saved par. Plenty of challenges to negotiate during the round, but par is never too unattainable. The clubhouse is a bit more formal than Royal Dornoch.
