Perched on top of perpendicular red cliffs, the course weaves a giant figure of eight, initially through the jungle then latterly alongside the sea. The crossover comes midway through the round which, if you've been at all wayward with your tee shots, affords you the opportunity to replenish your doubtless dwindling stock of balls at the delightful little pro shop. The two halves are contrasting. The outward nine cuts a swathe through the jungle while the back nine takes you along the cliff edge and provides countless opportunities to admire the magnificent view of the sandy beach a knee-wobbling distance below. Look out for a big cat called a jaguatirica that allegedly lurks around the fourth hole.

Incredible location above shore. Very nice people and service. Well groomed greens and fairways.
