So many really memorable holes on this James Braid design. Some blind shots needed - so bring a playful attitude and realize you may want to play it more than once. It runs through dunes and has some magnificent views of the Camel Estuary. The vision of the astounding Himalaya bunker guarding the 6th has seared itself into my memory.

A caddie is worth the extra cash here when taking on the demanding Church Course. There are lots of false fronts that you likely won't realise when playing it the first time. There are also plenty of blind tee shots, so there is an element of driving into the unknown at times. A lovely conditioned course, everything is in working order. It's a natural layout, and good value for money.
