A good challenge

Overall Skjeberg GK is a decent golf course. Challenging with its narrow tee shots and overly slopy greens. People are very nice so it's good to try out, but don't have too high expectations.

Very narrow fairways

Skjeberg golf course really asks for very accurate tee shots. Sometimes the driver is not the best choice for your tee shot. Most of the holes are short and it is very important to find the fairway so a very tactical game plan is required. On this course the Par 5s are very short but either 'make it or break it' holes because you can find yourself in the trees quicker than you think.

Feels like the mountains

Coming to the golf course I expected a completely different layout especially after the first and second hole. The course is not too long, only a few holes with longer irons, but the holes are never the same and you must really place the ball on your first shot. I must say the course could be maintained better as the fairways are pretty high and the greens are pretty slow, but considering how the greens are maybe it's a good thing. Practice range is ok and putting green as well. The restaurant has very good Thai food!
