It's like going back in time playing Royal North Devon, Westward Ho! Clubhouse is filled with historical artifacts and pictures. Relatively flat course but with some impressive bunkering. Loved the grazing animals we played amongst, including sheep and horses.

I loved Royal North Devon because it's so different to what you normally experience. It's laid out over flat farmland with sheep roaming freely, which is a very unusual sight! Golf at Westward Ho is a very natural experience and a window into the past. It's one of the oldest clubs in the UK - something that adds to its charm.

Steeped in history. No trees or bushes, just reeds and rushes to gobble errant shots. Every hole blends into its surroundings. Quite a quirky course, but in immaculate condition for its age, still playing with its original fairways from the 1800s. A must play.
