Easy to see why many of the game's elite, such as Adam Scott, Ernie Els and Darren Clarke, base themselves here when they're in the UK. Well conditioned course, immaculate putting surfaces and lots of risk-reward par-5s. Back nine is a stronger nine. A strategic test, and a course that you'd benefit from playing a couple of times before. Not the cheapest course to play, but you'll love it.
