Beautiful venue

Beautiful, old fashioned clubhouse. Not the longest courses in the world but both are very playable for all abilities. Nice tee boxes and greens. Decent practice facilities and friendly staff that includes former European Tour pro Carl Watts.
An Exceptional Set of Par Threes
01.05.2016
Because the course nestles in a valley, water is never far away and is a factor on no fewer than 11 holes. There's also plenty of mature woodland and the undulating terrain adds significantly to the course's considerable charm. The par threes are fabulous with the signature 10th the pick of them all. Look out for the airplane propeller hanging in the clubhouse which commemorates the crew of a Halifax bomber that were killed when the plane crashed onto the golf course in February 1945 after an engine caught fire.
