In the middle of a horse track

This course is the oldest golf course in Vienna. Very special about Freudenau is that the course is built in the middle of a horse track so some days while playing you see the jokey’s practicing with their horses. Freudenau’s signature hole is number 4, a tricky par 4 where you have to cross the horse track and a water hazard with your second shot. Pay special attention to your tee shots because the rough is very thick. Freudenau’s greens are pretty much flat but fast.

Der Platz liegt innerhalb einer Pferderennbahn. Da dort meistens der Wind geht ist der Platz schwierig zu spielen. Die Anlage ist in einem guten Zustand, es ist immer wieder schön dort zu spielen.

Die Atmosphäre rund um das Clubhaus ist Entspannung pur. Leider beginnt ab Loch 2 oder 3 die Fairway- und Grünqualität massiv nachzulassen.
