La Bresse is in the countryside, but attracts golfers from the three cities that surround it: Macon and Lyon in France, and Geneva in Switzerland. There is absolutely no housing in connection with the course - you'll be hard pressed to find a more peaceful, natural setting in this part of the world. The course has quite a bit of water, and some interesting holes, despite being fairly flat. The restaurant on the clubhouse terrace is a popular place to hang out, and gets a great atmosphere at lunchtime.

Nice mix of holes with some tight tree lined holes and others where you can open the shoulders and give it a rip. Good strategy is required to master the course. Good holes come at the par 3 12th and tricky par-3 8th.
