Course with water theme

This was my first experience with a Club Med resort. It was fine, but we only played the course, did not stay at the hotel. It's supposed to come off as very posh and ritzy, but to me it was just a pretty good golf course, nothing more, nothing less. Generous fairways and properly designed, with quite large greens. The course lies next to a horse race track, and the clubhouse is an old and prestigious-looking chatel that possibly has seen better days. The resort is run by Nestle, who own the Vittel water brand (competitor of Evian).
