Ryder Cup

Great greens, fairways, bunkers! But why such penalizing rough?? Makes no sense loosing your ball a meter off the fairway.... been there but will probably not go again...

Perfekter Platz.
Sensational

Without doubt the best golf course in France, and will certainly prove an awesome test for the pros in the 2018 Ryder Cup. Incredible holes from start to finish, none more so than the par-3 2nd where it's an all or nothing mid iron over the water and into the breeze, as well as the water-filled finish at 15, 16 and 18. Just a beautiful golf course. Quick and smooth putting greens are a treat. If you get through the course without losing a sleeve of balls you've done incredible. I think the average golf balls lost per round here for the amateur is five.
Purpose: excitement and large crowds

Le Golf National will be perfect for Ryder Cup 2018. Holes create natural viewing arenas and there's plenty of water for drama. The course works quite well as entertainment even if your game is not quite RC level. Bring plenty of balls for the island green holes.
Spectacular

Built really close to Paris and next to Chateau of Versailles. The course was built around 1990 and it was designed to become the home of the French Open and home of many amateur tournaments and will be the home of the Ryder Cup. It's the first course in France with a TPC design. The design of the course is awesome and the course is maintained amazingly. Greens are really fast. It's the one course where you'll need all the clubs in your bag and don't go in the rough!
