This course was for many years a good municipal parkland course. In recent years it has been in the hands of SIV who have improved it, and are continuing to so do. The course looks deceptively easy but especially on the dog leg holes requires accuracy in order to avoid dropping shots. Overall a good "pay & play" venue. Derby GC, base here, is a friendly club that doesn't charge the earth for membership.
