Enjoyable experience

Built in 1961, the course features a hilly landscape with narrow fairways flanked by old trees. The price for a round seemed particularly steep at around €80, but it always helps when you shoot a good score! The course is quite steep in places, and there are well-positioned water hazards, bunkers, and tall pines to navigate around. Probably a course better suited to the better player rather than someone just beginning. Pace of play was strong which appealed, the course was conditioned nicely, the bunkers were white and sandy, and the greens rolled nice and true. There is a good mix of short and long par-3s, and a couple of birdie chances on some short par-4s. Not the longest course in the world, although I played it off the yellows, but you must keep it in short grass to score well. The pro shop stocks pretty much everything you could wish for too. Panoramic views on several tee boxes overlooking the region also appealed. Solid rather than spectacular.
