A Bit of Braid and More
13.05.2016
Like so many courses in this glorious corner of Scotland, the stunning views across the surrounding countryside are every bit as important as the quality of the fairways or the speed of the greens. Here, the rolling Grampians provide the breathtaking backdrop. The very best holes in this extremely pleasant parkland course are the 10th through to the 17th, which were designed by the legendary James Braid. Although they suffer somewhat by comparison, the other 11 are nevertheless enjoyable and will present even more of a challenge when the fairly recently planted trees are better established.
