A joy to play. Real lively clubhouse atmosphere and a fun course. Standout holes include short par 3 10th over a valley and the final hole playing downwards toward the clubhouse. Quite a short course, but some holes are tantalizingly tricky. A golf club with personality!

Fairways are nicely aligned by almond, carob and olive trees. Lots of fantastic views over the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Standout holes have to be the tricky, tight par-5 5th where you take par all day long, and the short par-4 6th playing downhill. Fun course, suited to all players.

A Thread Back to Cotton

Sir Henry Cotton met a man in church who owned the land upon which Benamor now stands. Call it divine intervention if you like, but the three-time Open champion was commissioned to design a course which eventually opened in 2000. Only 6000 yards off the back tees, it defends itself mostly with trees. The greens are decidedly quick and three-putts will almost certainly punctuate your round.
