Great course with beautiful views
This course sits between a railroad and the coastline. Beautiful designs that allows to have 2 holes next to each other playing 9 holes straight along the coast. The fairways are rather narrow but offer great variety of tee shots. Great design and tough when played with a Scottish breeze.

Elementary for the Watsons
Historic Western Gailes is on a strip of land between the railway tracks and the beach. Just wide enough for two fairways, side by side. Tom Watson loves the 7th but Bubba Watson may like the 15th better. Local caddie was in awe when visiting Bubba pulled out his PW from the back tee (187m). Ok, there was a good Scottish wind from behind, but.... Bubba overshot the green with his PW and had to chip back. Easy par.
