Truely Royal Course

The grounds of Sotogrande are amazing! The white Clubhouse overlooks the 1st Tee and 18th Green. The Course itself features pristine fairways and some fast and tricky green! Very enjoyable to play this course! The fairways are very generous however some uphill approach shots into undulated greens make the course very interesting! A great old design which is a must play!

Golfreise Andalusien

Gerne mal wieder trotz hoher Greenfee

Platz in top Zustand.

Cooler Platz

Sotogrande ist eine Reise wert. Top Platz und hammer Umgebung. Immer in top Zustand und extrem schnellen Greens

Top Platz

Absoluter Championship Golfplatz.

Top quality!

Friendly staff at arrival and in the shop, a pyramid of balls on the range, wide fairways, beautiful bunkers, fast true greens, sauna in the lockerroom ! Luxury and style... Can I play again tomorrow?

Florida type course

A very nice course designed by Robert Trent Jones. The greens and parts of the course where a little scrubby today. A lot of padges and bruces. The area is very Florida like with nice open holes with plenty of water on some parkfeeling on others. Well worth a visit. A little bit cheep on the goodiebag. One 50cl bottle of water was included. A tip, look to your next door neighbours Valderrama and La Reserva for example. A bit more generus.

Always beautiful

Greens are excellent and the course great. The green fee is too expensive but this course is a must to play in Spain

The One and Only

known to be one of the best golf courses all over the world and especially in spain. I think one of the first golf courses to be built in the Sotogrande area and it has been building up its reputation for the last 40 years. The golf course itself is a work of art and you must play really well to be able to score well on this track. The course is surrounded by trees and houses and there are some stunning and quite difficult holes like number 7, where your first is already difficult, but you cannot really miss the green as there are bunkers on the left and water on the right side. The practice facility is amazing and its not a surprise its been used by the European tour as facility for Tour School for many years.

Spanish masterpiece

RTJ's first ever European course and it's still one of his finest. The fairways are wide and the rough has a tough of the Augusta about it. Stray from the short stuff though and you will find plenty of cork, pine, Palm and oak trees in your way. Immaculately presented, remarkable greens and nicely manicured bunkering. A must play.

Traditional Spanish

Great course. One of my favorites in Spain. Big greens, high trees and deep bunkers. Can be challenging, but in a good way. Very classy golf club.

First RTJ Course in Europe

Sonogram de was the first European course designed by Robert Trent. Jones Snr and ever since it opened it has consistently been voted one of the best on the continent. Always in immaculate condition, it weaves between pine, oaks, eucalyptus, palms and cork trees to provide a fitting venue for a very important international amateur team event called the Sherry Cup.
