Lovely and historic heathland course designed by Willie Park Jr. The clubhouse experience didn't live up to the beautiful inland course, as the 'time bubble' of gender segregation is depressing to me. As a mixed couple we were relegated to the low-status ladies' section. I believe women still aren't allowed on the course (or premises) on Saturdays. Notts has held numerous prestigious amateur championships.
