Monifieth is one of those old type of Scottish golf links where several golf clubs (all with different names) are connected to the courses - so there's no unified clubhouse. We played the Medal, which is really a good course, great for match play. It has a railway line that threatens on a right-hander's 'slice' side for a few holes, but soon enough you forget about that, and worry more about the dunes and the trees. We played on very good and fast rolling greens.
