Millennium Lakes is a sink or swim course. If a member says he's "4 under" at the turn, he's speaking in the Millennium lingo. It really means is that he's lost four balls up to that point. There is no lack of water (the courses is adjacent to the Arouca River, plus various lakes and ponds) and some of the fairways are not exactly aligned with the tees, so you have to be very accurate not to go astray. Bunkers heighten the stakes. Friendly staff and the exotic wildlife make up for any disastrous results.
