Einfach und gut

Ein klassischer Linksplatz ohne Wenn und Aber. Einige blinde Schläge vom Tee oder Fairway, teilweise stark ondulierte Spielbahnen und teilweise schöne Blicke auf das Meer. Die Greens waren heute nicht in bestem Zustand und teilweise recht „holperig“. Der Club feiert dieses Jahr sein 150 Jahre Jubiläum.

Der Course verläuft am Anfang parallel zum Meer als Linkscourse, bevor er dann dem Hügel entlang verläuft und Parkland Charakter hat. Schön zu spielen

Solid but not spectacular. Fine links fairways and decent greens have ensured this track has regularly been selected as a final qualifying course for the Open. Narrow fairways place premium on accuracy. Quite pricey for a round at £60 considering other courses at similar prices in the area appeal a little more.
Links and Parkland All in One

As the seagull flies, Lundin Links is halfway between Muirfield and St Andrews. Used as a qualifying venue when The Open is played on the Old Course, it's a wonderful course. The first five holes take you straight out along the coast in classic links fashion before you cross a disused railway line and played the nine 'new' (laid out in 1895) holes designed by James Braid. Although it's a bit of a links/parkland mix, it matters not as this is a thrilling golf course.
