Another James Braid design which makes clever use of what space there is available. Tight but certainly not claustrophobic, the course has no par fives which, although perhaps disappointing for gorillas, is a refreshing change from the current fashion which mistakenly confuses length with difficulty. You will only take out the driver on a handful of holes. Wild shots are punished and the plethora of balls stranded on adjacent fields bear mute testimony to the folly of wildness and widened. The course is quite simply charming.
