Beau parcours dans un environnement boisé et assez plat. Le parcours se situe dans un lieu comme une île au milieu de la Loire. Les mises en jeu sont relativement tolérante en revanche les greens aux multiples pentes sont bien défendus. La zone d'entraînement est de très bonne qualité tout comme le restaurant.

Right on the banks of the lovely Loire, L'ile d'Or occupies a superb island site that is simply ideal for golf. Unsurprisingly, there's plenty of water on this naturally undulating course that meanders around the river bank. Despite the close proximity to water, the sandy soil drains remarkably well and the course remains playable throughout the year. Fine wines can be enjoyed in the converted clubhouse which was formerly used for housing sheep and consequently has a magnificent 'baa'!
