Beautiful course in Haute-Savoie with the Alps towering above. The golf course itself has two personalities. The first two holes plus 10-18 are on flat land, with tree-lined fairways and a mountain stream defending the holes in various ways. The 3rd and 9th holes are on a gentle slope that connects the flat area to the mountain. When you reach the 3rd green, you get to an area full of parked golf carts with trailers. Trolleys go on the trailer, and you drive straight up the mountainside. The 4th to 8th holes are played in mountainous terrain. From the 4th hole you can see both Lake Annecy and its amazingly turquoise hue, and the Alps. The only thing that detracts is the somewhat blasé service in the clubhouse.
