Founded in 1903, the course features lots and lots of heather as you may expect for a Berkshire track. The course opens gently but picks up quickly. The par 3 fifth is the signature hole, where the tee shot must carry 150 yards over rough with trees either side of the green. Not the most memorable course in Berkshire but definitely a must play. The greens are exceptional.
