If you like courses that test every club in your bag this one is for you. Wayward shots will pay the price, typical of Dye. Length is downplayed here but you must be accurate. Several fun risk/reward holes. A must play in Myrtle Beach.

'Problems' on every hole - that is to say, hazards and other challenges. Pete Dye is a real devious golf architect, not one to please beginners very much. Long and straight is the name of the game. Lots of water. This is the only place I've ever been where you're allowed to drive golf carts straight through bunkers defined as waste areas, so no need to rake. The cart tracks in the bunkers look wrong, though!
