Japanese beginnings

Apremont was orginally built by a Japanese company, one of a chain of golf courses in France (there were Japanese baths in the locker rooms when I was there). It is now part of the Exclusiv chain. It's a course that's pretty easy to walk, in pleasant surroundings with woods and water. The trees don't crowd the fairway too much. Favorite hole is picturesque par three 16th. The course opens up around the the clubhouse, which is modern, but still with a relaxed feel to it.

Très beau golf de la région parisienne. L'entretien du terrain est impeccable, il bénéficie de beaucoup de partie boisés. De nombreux obstacles d'eau sauront accueillir les swings maladroit, le tracé est intéressant. Le club house et l'hôtel sont très agréable !
One for all players

A course suited for all types of player, but it's quite long off the tips at 6700 yards. Lots of wide fairways but plenty of water is on hand to gobble poor drives. Best holes come at 8 and 16 with a lake featuring on both.
