Morgado starts off with some fairly plain holes at the bottom of the valley, a couple of them skirting round a small lake. Fairways are quite forgiving. It's only on the back nine that the course starts to show its real character, with more slopes and definition to the holes. We played this course on the first day of our February stay in the Algarve and it was a good way to start the golf season (by easing into it.)
More remote than most

Wilder, calmer and more remote than other courses in the Algarve. You can open the shoulders more off the tee for starters! Generous, flat fairways and large greens give it a linksy feel. There are also Scottish style bunkers adding to that effect.

Long golf without water, I’ve walked about 12 km playing 8, you have to stay on the pass, every fairway were burned and scarified with sometime about 20cm thick of cut grass in the middle. It seems to be under work. Greens are ok, very large
Offener Platz

Sehr breite Fairway und ziemlich grosse Greens. Man hat viel Platz und wenig Bäume. Nur der Wind macht den Platz zur richtigen Challenge.
