Measuring a little over 6,700 yards from the back tees, Kampenhout is quite a lengthy course but multiple sets of tees make the course playable for a great number of players. Tree-lined fairways mean accuracy is important unless you have a Seve-like streak to your game while the ever present threat of large water hazards mean the course plays similarly to the stadium courses of the United States. Pack plenty of golf balls if you have the odd mishit shot in your bag! Hitting the greens in regulation should allow for a fair few birdie tries as the greens at this course are well known for their good conditioning.
Kampenhout is a par 72 parkland course. If you plan on renting clubs, make sure that the pro shop will be open when you intend to play. The course lies in a pretty setting in very flat terrain with majestic, mature trees. Bring plenty of balls (rough and water hazards will abscond with those that stray). The terrace and its abundant Leffe beer was an informal and relaxing place.
